Culinary explorer Roman Vaněk and food history expert Doc. Martin Franc test centuries-old recipes to see if they are still edible today.
Roman Vaněk is a collector of historical cookbooks and menus and has always been interested in how food cooked according to a 300-year-old recipe tastes. Will it be edible? So he calls renowned chefs into the rondons, asks for help from the most skilled of the skilled – Docent Jídlo aka Doc. Martin France from the Academy of Sciences, who is an expert in the history of food, and together they embark on an expedition to the kitchens of our great-grandmothers.
